More March Stuff

Hayden and Sean found four leaf clovers on St. Patrick's day!

At her dentist appointment, we found one of Sydney's top front teeth had an abscess, and needed to be removed to prevent damage her permanent tooth.  She was a trooper but was so sad when it was done that her tooth was gone and told me that she wasn't going to smile until her new tooth grew in.   Thank goodness she decided to smile again because I would have died if I couldn't see her cute smile for two years!

Her new smile until that tooth comes in at age 7.

Working on Sean's Pinewood Derby car.  Hayden can't wait to make his own next year!

Daphne working on her 5th grade science project.
Both the derby car and the science project were due the next day, and we were burning the midnight oil to get them done in time.  If it weren't for the last second we wouldn't get anything done!

Upward Basketball 2015

January and February three of our kids played Upward Basketball.  Arthur coached Daphne and Hayden's teams with our friend Scott McEntire who had kids on each of those teams as well.  It's a little crazy for Arthur, but it worked out so great because we were able to get all of our kids practices on the same night.   And of course the kids love having their Dad coach them.  Sean's turn next time to have his Dad coach!

February Stuff

In February, we celebrated this boy's 2nd birthday!

He is such a funny kid, and is learning to say so many words.  He knows his colors, loves playing with his siblings (is so sad when Sydney is at preschool) loves playing with legos, wrecking Sydney's block creations, and watching "Barbie-Life in the Dreamhouse."  Yep.  We love him.

February is also the month of Valentine's Day.  We had a couple of basketball games that day, but we did a little Valentine's breakfast before dashing off to those.

My favorite people in the world.

In February, we also had a great storm that dumped enough snow to make a really good snowman.  The city cancelled just about everything and we had a perfectly lovely day enjoying snow and family time and warming up by the fire.
